What should I expect to happen when I come for a treatment?
During the treatment we apply a gel to the selected area and the Exilis Elite™ device is guided over it. You feel a warming sensation as the energy is delivered to the deeper layers of skin. Many describe it similar to a hot stone massage. The device itself has a cooling function for maximum comfort and safety.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for treatment?
It is recommended that you drink more water for three days prior to treatment and on the following day. The more hydrated you are the more comfortable the treatment.
What age group is Exilis Elite™ suitable for?
Exilis Elite™ is recommended for any client between the ages of 25 and 70+ who desires cosmetic improvement to their skin without surgery.
How many treatments will I need to get the desired result?
To achieve the best results, four treatments at a rate of weekly or every two weeks are recommended to optimise long lasting results. At your consultation, we will discuss how many treatments you need to meet your personal objectives.
Are there any side effects?
You may notice some pinkness on the treated area which could last for 15 to 30 minutes after completion but this will subside completely. Some temporary and minor tenderness may be also experienced, particularly if the treatment is performed on facial areas closer to bones.
