How to Prepare For Your Appointment

Freshly shaved skin can be more reactive, which may make the session less comfortable, so we recommend shaving the day before rather than just before you arrive. This gives any minor irritation time to settle while keeping the follicle intact below the surface.

  • Shave the area around 24 hours before

    The laser targets the pigment in the follicle below the skin, so the hair needs to be present at the root but not above the surface.

  • Avoid deodorant, lotions 
    and oils on the day of your appointment

    This is so the skin is clean and clear.

  • Keep the area out of the sun

     and avoid fake tan before and during your course.

  • Do not wax, pluck or epilate 

    Do not do these in the weeks before treatment. These methods remove the root the laser needs to target.

Aftercare

The underarm can be a little sensitive for a day or two after treatment, so for the first 24 to 48 hours we recommend that you:
Avoid deodorant, perfume and anything fragranced on the area.
