It’s important to ask lots of questions and fully explore all options available to you. Here are the most popular questions asked.

You will need three treatments, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart. You may then choose to have single treatments in 6 to 9 months’ time to maintain results.

There are two types of polynucleotides (also known as nucleic acid) that are found in nature. They are ribonucleic acid (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). DNA is the genetic material in all living cells. Both DNA and RNA differ in their composition, structure, and function
Typically, you will not notice any benefits for a few weeks. This is because the action of polynucleotides is at the cellular level, and this takes time. Although you may notice some improvement after 2-3 weeks, the full effect is only visible at 3 months.

We advise a top up treatment every 6-9 months to sustain your result. While some initial results may be visible soon after the treatment, the full benefits of Polynucleotide tend to be seen after two treatments as collagen production is stimulated and the skin rejuvenates.

Side effects are minimal, depending on the injection technique used. As with any injection, patients can expect some slight redness and swelling following treatment, which settles after 1–2 days. No serious adverse events have been reported
Polynucleotides are similar to Profhilo but not the same. Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid injectable skin booster used mainly to deeply hydrate the skin and give patients glowing skin. Profhilo tends to be used on younger skin types as it’s pure HA and isn’t as effective in reducing the common signs of ageing. However, polynucleotides make your fibroblasts produce collagen and therefore help to remodel the skin and improve many of the common signs of ageing.
