What is Sofwave™?

Sofwave™ is an innovative treatment designed to reduce wrinkles and improve laxity by boosting collagen production deep within the skin. Using a high-intensity fractional ultrasound, it delivers energy to the mid-dermal layers at just the right depth to promote natural skin renewal and rejuvenation. This treatment will give you noticeable lifting and firming, whilst avoiding any damage to the skin’s surface. How does Sofwave™ work?

Sofwave™ uses precise ultrasound waves to heat the deeper layers of the skin, triggering collagen and elastin production. This leads to gradual skin tightening, improving texture and reducing sagging. Since the surface of the skin remains intact, Sofwave™ is suitable for all skin types and offers a comfortable, no-downtime experience.

Sofwave™ has three key advantages:

If we take a look at Sofwave™ vs Ultherapy®, both Sofwave™ and Ultherapy® use ultrasound to regenerate collagen and tighten skin, but Sofwave™ targets the mid-dermal layer with unique Sofcool and parallel beam SUPERB technology for a more comfortable treatment and minimal downtime. Ultherapy® penetrates deeper, which can result in more intense sensations and a longer recovery. Sofwave treats 8-10 times more tissue than Ultherapy

No, Sofwave™ doesn’t hurt - most clients describe a warming sensation during treatment. A numbing cream can be applied to enhance comfort if needed.
Some patients may experience mild redness or swelling, which usually fades within hours. Most people see noticeable improvement after one session, though some may require additional treatments. Maturer skin may require more regular treatment, ie every 12 months, compared to younger skin where treatment every 2 years may be sufficient.
